I really can't understand why it always hurts these past few days. It is a bit challenging to do things with these muscles aching. I can't type fast enough and I feel that I can't sit for too long in front of my computer. This is not good for me for I do spend a lot of time sitting in front of the computer to get my deliverables done. I feel so uncomfortable. Aside from a massage, I think I need a work chair at home too when I am doing my freelance work. With my physical state right now, I think I wouldn't even last going through a 100 paged reverse phone directory even if I had to find a certain number. See even my lower back is hurting. I think I am getting old. My body can no longer last long hours of work. At times I would even feel sleepy even if I had 8 hours of sleep before reporting to work.

My good friend of mine who is a photographer in Berkshire told me all about how he got into photography too, and we both agree that digital photography has changed everything. The truth is we take just as many dud shots, but we also take about ten times as many pictures in general, and we can preview what we have taken before downloading it. This results in a lot more usable shots, and makes everyone look like a pro! You can tell someone new to digital photography, as they still act like they have to be careful how many pictures they take. They will spend a long time lining everyone up for the perfect shot, and then take each picture as if were going to be the only one. Once you get the hang of digital photography, you realize you can take basically unlimited shots, and you just start shooting the minute everyone is vaguely together, or you take a hundred pictures of that weird sky, or pictures of the new baby from every possible angle. There is sure to be a keeper in every bunch, and if there isn't, you can just try again right away! Still, there's something about the old way I miss a little. When you did get a great shot, it felt like a miracle. You saved the negative, had it enlarged, kept it as a family heirloom. Pictures now might be better, but they don't feel quite as special. Something is lost when something is gained.
